Store Policies

FREE SHIPPING applies to continental US delivery addresses only and is via ground by the carrier of our choice. Shipping is free on orders over $100. Free shipping does not apply to items that require expedited shipping such as fish. Most orders are shipped within 24 hours. Blue Iris does not ship internationally.  Orders will be shipped to the continental U.S. only.

Federal Express and UPS will not deliver to a PO Box. We require a physical 'ship to' address to process your order. All livestock including koi and goldfish may be shipped via UPS overnight or Airfreight to your airport.

Return Policy

You may return new, unopened items within 10 days of delivery for a full refund (excluding shipping and handling charges). Items should be returned in their original packaging. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error.

All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee and must be in new, unopened condition. Items that have been used, opened or tested in any manner are not returnable.

If you are returning an item in which Blue Iris paid the shipping/handling charge you will be responsible for the shipping charge that we, as the shipper, incurred to have your order delivered. This amount will be deducted from your credit.

The following items are not returnable; special orders, pond liner, liner underlay, tubing, books, aquatic plants, liquids, fish food & plant food, livestock including koi and goldfish.

Return Procedures

Every return requires a return authorization number (RA) from Blue Iris.

For an RA number call 509-921-1001.

All exchanged/returned merchandise must be in original factory condition, including all packaging materials, manuals, warranty cards (not filled-out) and all accessories. We reserve the right to charge you for replacement of damaged, altered, missing, written-on or taped-on contents or cartons. We reserve the right to refuse any such returns.

Write the RA# issued by Customer Service clearly on the outside of the shipping box.

Any merchandise returned without authorization will be refused.

Please ship your parcel back to us freight prepaid via UPS or Fedex Ground Service "Insured". Sorry, we cannot accept COD or freight-collect shipments as well as shipments via US Postal Service.

 Cancellations

All orders that are charged to your account but canceled before the order is shipped are subject to a 5% Processing Fee. This is the approximate fee that we pay the bank to process the purchase and refund the purchase to your credit card.

Warranty

 

Each non-perishable product comes complete with a warranty from the manufacturer. The manufacturers' warranty covers repair or replacement of defective parts, subject to the conditions set forth. All warranties are held by the manufacturer and not by Blue Iris. If you have any questions regarding warranties, please either call (509-921-1001) or email Customer Service. If during the warranty period your product requires service, please contact the manufacturer as per the warranty instructions.

BLUE IRIS KOI AUCTION

    1. Auctions may last from 3 to 5 days from the placement of the listing, based on the duration that we select at the time the auction is placed. Auctions are automatically terminated at the end of that time, and the  high bidder is notified by e-mail.
    2. To place a bid, simply select the item from a category list. The item description page has a bid form on the bottom of it. You are required to provide a valid e-mail address with your bid, as well as your full name. This information will only be given to the seller in the event you are the high bidder.    All bids are placed in  (US) dollar bid increments. The minimum amount you must bid to be the current high bidder is listed on the item description page.  Proxy bidding is allowed.  Enter the maximum you are willing to pay for an item and the program will automatically increase your bid, by a minimum amount, when you are out bid, up to the amount you entered. 
    3. Payment terms; Payment must be made to Blue Iris Water Gardens  within 2 days of auction close.  Auction prices DO NOT include shipping.  Winning bidders that do not arrange payment within 2 days will loose their item and it will be re-listed for sale and they may be banned from future bidding.  We will hold your koi for a maximum of  seven (7)  days until you have enough to make shipping practical, but no longer than 7 days.
    4. We guarantee live arrival on all koi shipped by FED EX PRIORITY OVERNIGHT ONLY. Other shipping options are available, but we cannot be responsible for any losses if you choose these shipping methods.

Using Paypal for Payments of Auction Purchases

You may use PayPal to pay for an auction if you are the purchaser. 
It is FREE and very convenient.
