Savio's second generation UV utilizes the latest in coated UV bulb technogogy. Patented coated bulb does not require a quartz sleeve. Use 18w in the COMPACT skimmer filter and either the 26w or 50w in the STANDARD Skimmerfilter. Maintenance is as easy as occassionally wiping with a damp rag. Uvinex unit comes with transformer and bulb.
These units from Emperor Aquatic will replace the Savio units in the Savio skimmer Filter. The replacement bulbs from Emperor Aquatics replace the Savio UV bulb.
NOTE: The Emperor replacement bulbs fit the Emperor retro units. They will not fit the Savio UV unit.
